Yes! Your account works on iOS, Android, and web browsers. Reports are stored locally on each device, but you can share them between devices using the export/import feature.
Go to Settings > Edit Profile to update your name, job title, and phone number. Changes sync automatically when you're online.
From the Reports screen, tap the "+" button in the top right corner. Fill in the report details (client name, job number, dates, etc.) and tap "Create Report."
Open your report and tap "Add [Item Type]" to document a new piece of equipment. Fill in the tag number, manufacturer, and other details, then add photos and notes for each component.
Absolutely! Tap any report to open it, then tap "Edit" to modify the report details. You can also add, edit, or remove equipment items at any time.
Open the report you want to delete, scroll to the bottom, and tap the "Delete Report" button. This action cannot be undone.
When documenting equipment, tap the camera icon next to any photo section. You can either take a new photo or select one from your photo library.
Yes! After taking or selecting a photo, you'll be able to crop it to focus on the important details before saving.
When enabled in Settings, a copy of every photo you take within the app is automatically saved to your device's photo library as a backup.
High-resolution photos are stored with your reports. To free up space, you can export completed reports and then delete them from the app.
First, enable Voice Input in Settings. On mobile devices, this downloads a ~150MB AI model (one-time download). Once enabled, look for the microphone icon next to text fields. Tap and speak to dictate.
Yes! Once the AI model is downloaded, voice input works without an internet connection. The transcription happens directly on your device.
Go to Settings and toggle off Voice Input. You'll be asked if you want to delete the AI model to free up ~150MB of space.
Make sure you've granted microphone permissions to the app. On iOS, check Settings > Privacy > Microphone. On Android, check Settings > Apps > Inspekta > Permissions.
Open your report and tap the "Generate" button. Choose your preferred format (PDF or DOCX) in Settings > Report Format. The report will be generated and you can share it immediately.
Yes! Go to Settings > Report Format to switch between PDF and DOCX formats.
Generate a PDF or DOCX version of your report—these can be opened on any computer or device without Inspekta.
Use the Export feature ( icon) in the top right corner of the selected report screen to save a complete .report file that includes all photos and data. Then import it on your other device using the Import feature ( icon) in the top right corner of the reports screen.
Export creates a .report file for transferring to another device running Inspekta. Generate creates a PDF or DOCX document for sharing with clients or printing.
Yes! Inspekta is fully functional for filling out reports offline. You can create reports, add photos, and document equipment without any internet connection. However, you will need an internet connection to generate the report (PDF or DOCX) and use the "AI rewrite" feature.
No. All data is stored locally on your device and remains available until you explicitly delete it.
Try closing other apps to free up memory. If you have many reports with lots of photos, consider exporting and deleting old reports.
Report generation requires an internet connection. Make sure you're online and try again. If the problem persists, check that your subscription is active.
Ensure all photos were fully saved before exporting. If photos show as missing, try re-adding them and exporting again.
